*there are a few photos missing, they are not quite ready yet. some series and color problems (especially with the foil room) title page and artists' statement being polished.
ok so, love the idea, love the pictures, love the book. every one of your pictures could work great by itself but together they create something more beautiful than anyone could have thought was even possible. i dont mean to pick it apart because it is a book, but i just have to say that more than anything i love the cotton room, it must have taken a good amount of time to do that but it was worth it, and im glad you did. great fuckin job
Uh, WOW. The lighting in your images is totally stunning. Everything about this book is stunning. I am so impressed by you and the amount of time/energy that you had to put into this book and I can't wait to physically hold the copy of it in my own hands. AHHHHHHHHH! This is so exciting! Good luck on the final text touches. :)
This is EXCELLENT WORK! I am very excited for the completion of this book, and I do want to hold it in my hands.
I look forward to the opening where we can speak at length, but this is solid project. The images are formally well produced, and the activity in the photographs has a rawness to it that creates an interesting dynamic within the spaces. Intriguing. Well done!
Thank you for your hard work Sam! Keep this up. This stamina will pay off.
Sam, you have truly done great photography, and this is a lot of work you have done. Fantastic job, it was all worth it. You should be very proud :) -Rezvan
Sam, The photos have tribal/post-modern references that take the book to a different level. Spirals, materials, and models blending gender roles while simultaneously confirming them. We used to live here in these bodies with these organs and these preconceptions but are we free? At the same time the room holds these characters in a maddening way. A representation of a mind or an experiment with texture, either way very dynamic well pulled off book. Great job guys. Andrew
Sam, I am extremely impressed by your artistic and technical advancement. You are truly becoming (already are, i should say) an amazing artist. I would love to have a copy of this book and come to its opening.
